Hi there! Thanks for checking out Travel Admission & Blonde Ambition. Let me start off my introducing myself. My name is Brooke VenHuizen; I was born & raised in the Midwest and have not left… Besides for all my travel adventures 😊. I am a natural blonde, a foodie, driven by Faith over fear, passionate about family time, and love making memories wherever I go.

I created this blog because I am so IN LOVE with travel and how it can light up a person’s life. I feel so enlivened by meeting new people, experiencing new cultures, and truly relating to and becoming one with nature and all its beauty.

A few fun facts to get you started…

• You can expect a lot of ice cream built into my trips, whether it’s a simple day trip or a 7-day getaway across the US. Life is short, make it sweet – and what better way to do that then with some ice cream and good company??

• In 2020 I will turn 25. My goal is to travel to all the states before turning 30. I hope you enjoy following me on this adventure 😊

• My wanderlust is not for one type of geography, scenery, or landscape. I love traveling to and capturing photos of all kinds of landscapes. One moment, my heart may be calling me to the mountains. The next, my mind may be asking for some much needed R&R near a beach, listening to the waves with a drink in my hand.

• I am blessed with an amazing hubby, Sam, who is as passionate about making memories traveling as I am. I think if we won the lottery, we would travel year-round and to so many amazing places!

• Destinations I am itching to get to: Hawaiian Islands!! National Parks in Alaska. Paris one day <3
