Months have come and gone since COVID-19 hit the U.S. and impacted each and every one of our lives. They say you never realize what you have until it’s gone… even if that’s toilet paper! 😉 For me, these past few months have made me realize how important ~travel~ is to my life…

Don’t get me wrong, I am content with what I have. I love the special moments of cooking in my home with my husband and appreciate the small-town vibes. But there is truly something special and enlivening about being able to travel.

The accents in downtown Boston when you ask for directions.

The feel of cold, wet sand on an early morning beach stroll to catch the sunrise.

The warmth of being cuddled up with a loved one while listening to an outdoor concert… Or even the warmth of when that second glass of wine hits you while surrounded by giggly friends.

My trip to Hawaii may have been canceled and I can’t go far right now, but I’ve got some fun “staycations” up my sleeve to inspire your own travel. Be on the look out as we begin to make memories over the next few weeks- and YES, I promise you they will involve ice cream. 😊
